Adobe Creative Jam

Creative Jams are an event series combining inspiring talks by local creative professionals with a design competition during San Francisco Design Week. I got the theme "Decorate, Decorate," and had 3 hours to complete my work using Adobe Creative Cloud apps.

Idea Background Story 

"Where should we eat?" is a timeless, exhausting, and frustrating struggle. You are meet your friend or date your boyfriends or girlfriends,  and you're both stuck with what kind of food or where to eat. You may have hundreds of food that you want, but you have no idea what you want to eat at this moment?! Or even you are already at the pizza place; you still have questions come up like “which is better, the cedar plank salmon or the lobster baked potato or the gluten-free crust pizza?” "Wait for a minute, let me check the reviews or google first!" It turns out it's a decision-making problem. 

Solution

OhMyFood is constantly introducing foodies to fabulous new food bloggers and great food suggestions. Also, it brings the news to you – you don’t have to spend time searching for new spots or coupons.You quickly find nearby restaurants, read plenty of reviews, and even view great local deals and photos of the places. Search filters ensure that you can narrow things down according to distance, price, and rating, so you know what exactly restaurants you’re getting. At the same time, you easily organize your lists and food collection.

User Research

Sara is gonna dinner with her boyfriend; she finally picks the restaurants by searching and asking her co-workers during the lunch break. Now, she is sitting at the restaurant. After several minutes of reading the menu; she said, “Um, let’s see. I don’t know what to order. Maybe I’ll have the new york steak; no wait, the burgers seems yummy. Or, maybe the soup and salad. Honey, what are you ordering? " Her boyfriend always feels confused because he knows Sara is a food lover, but she also a hard decision maker. Let us interview her what does her concerns.
